Gaalooge Agro Business Enterprise is currently seeking a qualified TVET Trainer (Mogadishu) to join their team in Mogadishu. About Gaalooge TVET training program.

Gaalooge Agro Business Enterprise is a private agro-business enterprise that is fully registered to

operate in Somalia. We are the sole and authorized dealers of Case IH tractors and machinery in the

country. We are the leading agro business enterprise and one of our key pillars is the empowerment

and training of farming communities and youth empowerment on agriculture and Agri mechanization,

where TVET is part and parcel.

As part of our CSR, we are dedicated to equipping our communities with necessary skills for the

improvement of the agricultural sector. Gaalooge has the experience of offering GAP trainings and

TVET based agri-mechanization training with support from our partners Case IH and CNH sustainability

team.

The training program is widely recognized by the ministry of agriculture, Ministry of labour and social

affairs and various local and international NGOs. In 2026, we are seeking to recruit 10women and

10men who will take part in this year’s sustainability training program.

Training topics.

The training will focus more on Agri mechanization, with support courses offered to provide 360-

degree knowledge set on other agriculture and related topics. Therefore, at the end of the training,

the learner will have an opportunity to learn about;

  1. Introduction and deep dive to farm machinery.
  2. Gain in-depth knowledge about agricultural tractors.
  3. Learn about various tractor attachments and implements.

Learn how to operate a tractor and conduct routine services, minor repairs and

troubleshooting.

  1. Sustainable farm management and good agricultural practices (GAP).

Financial literacy training

Position Overview.

We are looking for skilled, qualified and experienced technical trainers, who will conduct this year’s

in Mogadishu training center. Training duration is 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver the sustainability training program as per 2026 training curriculum.
  2. Supervise the progress of the sustainability TVET training program.
  3. Preparing and supervising the and conduct assessments of the trainees on time-to-time basis

to assess the delivery of the training.

  1. To co-ordinate smooth content delivery from other short courses training. E.g. financial literacy

training.

  1. Maintain accurate records of the training progress.
  2. To supervise students training during practical sessions and field training sessions.

  1. Trainers with experience in delivering agricultural engineering or mechanical engineering

training courses.

  1. Should have proven experience of 3+ years in conducting similar training courses.
  2. Should be proficient in English and Somali. Proficiency in any other language is an added

advantage.

  1. The candidate should have good report writing skills and demonstrate good communications

skills.

  1. The candidate should be willing to travel with the trainees to the rural farms and fields for

practical training sessions.
