The Strategy and Analytics Advisor will serve as a strategic thought partner to World Vision International leadership, driving the performance and implementation of Our Promise Phase 3. Rooted in the five Strategic Imperatives and four Mindsets & Behaviours, this role harnesses advanced data analytics and strategy consulting expertise to generate insights, assess progress, and identify course corrections that sharpen World Visionās impact. The Advisor will translate complex data into clear, actionable intelligence that informs global decision-making and business processes, and catalyzes systemic improvements in child well-being outcomes.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Advisory Support
- Provide analytical and consultative support to global leadership and cross-functional teams, enabling data-informed decisions and business processes that maximize outcomes for children and strengthen WVās global distinctiveness.
Strategic Planning & Initiative Design
- Contribute to the design of strategic capability-building efforts under Our Promise Phase 3, providing rigorous logic and evidence to support design choices.
Insight Development & Reporting
- Synthesize internal and external data (internal WV financial data, AIM, industry benchmarks) into insights and briefings that inform business cases, drive narrative for impact, and position WV for influence.
Strategy Performance Analytics
- Design and execute performance monitoring systems that track and evaluate progress across the five Strategic Imperatives and four Mindsets & Behaviours, using robust data modelling and visualization tools to present trends, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
Coordination & Capacity Building
- Build capacity among regional and field colleagues to use strategic data tools; coordinate knowledge-sharing platforms to foster analytics-informed leadership culture.
Requirements include:
- Masterās degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Development Economics, Data Science, or related field.
- Management consulting background and/or corporate strategy experience (within a non-profit or commercial sector) is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in strategy, analytics, or performance management, ideally in top-tier consulting or global development contexts.
- Fluency in speaking and writing in English.
