CHILD SAFEGUARDING:
the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.
Risk and Compliance:
The role holder is required to carry out the duties in accordance with the SCI Fraud, Bribery, and Corruption policy and code of conduct. The key responsibilities include understanding and complying with the SCI policies and procedures, not committing any act of fraud, bribery, or corruption, understanding risks in their area/role, and implementing mitigation measures, report any suspected fraud, bribery, or corruption immediately, declare conflicts of interest in accordance with internal procedures and complete mandatory training related to ethics and anti-fraud measures
ROLE PURPOSE:
The Sr. Coordinator is accountable for budget management across the multiple awards implemented under the jurisdiction of the Field Office. S/he is also accountable for partner management and coordination, which includes development through capacity building, monitoring, and supportive supervision.
The position Holder will be responsible to Co-chair the Education cluster and representing SCI in the Eduaction clusters happening at the sub-national or regional level. S/he will coordinate with other Programme Staff to gather or share important updates.
Performs other related tasks as required and as assigned by his/her immediate line manager, Area Director, or Head of Program Operations.

- Coordinate day-to-day implementation of education project activities.
- Develop detailed implementation plans and activity schedules.
- Ensure timely execution of project work plans and targets.
- Monitor project performance against indicators and deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance to education staff and partners.
- Support teachers and facilitators through mentoring and coaching.
- Ensure education interventions meet SCI quality standards.
- Promote inclusive, gender-sensitive, and child-friendly education approaches.
