Hiring: Site Engineer
We are looking for a qualified and motivated Site Engineer to join our team in Mogadishu, Somalia.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities on site
- Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues
- Manage labor workforce and site resources efficiently
- Review and verify measurements, materials, and completed works
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control
- Prepare site documentation, reports, and progress updates
- Ensure proper use of construction materials and equipment
- Monitor concrete works, finishing works, and structural activities
- Support procurement by identifying site material requirements
- Attend project meetings and provide technical input
- Identify project risks and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and milestones
- Maintain accurate records of site activities and approvals
- Coordinate surveying and setting-out activities on site
- Inspect workmanship to ensure high construction standards
