The ideal candidate will play a key role in leading research initiatives, developing partnerships, and contributing to high-quality publications and projects. Key Responsibilities: ✔ Lead and manage research projects from design to implementation✔ Develop research proposals and secure funding opportunities✔ Conduct high-quality academic and applied research✔ Build partnerships with local and international stakeholders✔ Prepare and publish research papers in peer-reviewed journals✔ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior researchers✔ Present research findings to stakeholders and at conferences === Skills & Qualifications === Job Requirements / Specifications: Master’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Public Administration, or Business Administration, with strong engagement in community, public, or private sectors Strong knowledge in: Resource mobilization Communication International relations Public relations Excellent presentation, writing, and negotiation skills, including the ability to develop partnership initiatives and grant proposals Strong project management skills Minimum of 6 years’ relevant work experience At least 4 publications in peer-reviewed journals Minimum of 6 completed research papers Proficiency in computer applications, including statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata, etc.) Language Requirements: ✔ Fluent in English (spoken and written)✔ Native proficiency in Somali --- About Mogadishu --- Mogadishu, known locally as Muqdisho, is the capital of Somalia and the country's largest city.
