PURPOSE

OF

THE

POSITION

The Sales Manager

is to lead overall sales strategy, supervise branch sales teams, and drive aggressive revenue growth across all operational areas.

KEY

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and coordinate the company’s overall sales operations.

Develop and implement sales strategies, targets, and growth plans.

Supervise Sales Supervisors and Sales Persons across all branches.

Monitor sales performance, market coverage, customer retention, and collections.

Introduce and enforce KPI-based performance management systems..

Identify new business opportunities and support market expansion.

Prepare regular sales reports and provide management with strategic insights.

Ensure professionalism, accountability, and target achievement across the sales team.

Garowe is the administrative capital of the Puntland State of Somalia. The city has developed into an important center for governance, education, and humanitarian operations in northeastern Somalia. Many international organizations maintain offices in Garowe, supporting development and resilience-building programs across the region.

Qualifications & Requirements

REQUIRED

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field

Minimum 4–5 years of proven experience in sales management or commercial leadership

.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong leadership, planning, negotiation, and communication skills

.

Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a target-driven environment

.

Familiarity with local market dynamics is an added advantage

.

Good knowledge of sales systems, reporting, and market development

.
