The Roster
Role
Trailsearch’s roster of region/districts-based research assistants:
- This roster serves as a pre-qualified talent pool created to enable the
timely placement of professionals across assignments with humanitarian
and development partners.
- Membership in the roster does not guarantee or imply immediate
employment. Individuals who successfully complete the pre-qualification
assessment and screening process shall be considered for assignments
that align with their skills, experience and geographic mobility.
- The Roster membership for selected RA’s shall be active up to 2 years
and may be renewed based on candidates’ availability, availability of
relevant assignments/opportunities and supervisor’s feedback on
candidates’ performance.
Key responsibilities
- Collect quantitative data using digital data collection tools including
ODK, KOBO, Survey CTO, COMCARE etc.
- Conduct Qualitative interviews (Focus Group discussions, Key
informant interviews) using structured, approved data collection forms.
- Conduct telephone/virtual interviews where necessary ensuring data
quality, confidentiality and client’s ethics other standard research
preferences.
- Compile field reports including success stories, field observation
reports and general feedback.
