Learn more: www.sihanet.org About the Consultancy: SIHA seeks a qualified Consultant – Rapporteur to document and synthesize key discussions, outcomes, and recommendations during the Regional Gender Forum (RGM) and the We Cannot Wait (WCW) project closure meeting that will be held in Kampala, Uganda. The WCW project (2021–2025) has advanced women’s political, legal, and economic rights through feminist coalitions across the Horn of Africa. As it concludes, the final RGM will consolidate lessons, highlight collective achievements, and co-develop strategies for future feminist advocacy and fundraising. Objectives of the Consultancy: Produce a comprehensive report summarizing RGM discussions, outcomes, and action points. Draft a skeleton concept note outlining the next phase of the WCW initiative and future fundraising directions. Scope of Work: Conduct preparatory work through review of WCW documents such as narrative reporting, the approved WCW proposal, and the RGM agenda. Take comprehensive and detailed minutes during the RGM, with the final report submitted to SIHA combining detailed minutes and a summarized section of each agenda session and action items for follow-up. The report should capture the main objectives and outcomes of each agenda session. Formulate the skeleton outline of a concept note for the future iteration of the WCW project based upon comprehensive minutes taken during the planning days devoted to the senior management of country partners. Methodology: Conduct desk research on WCW reports and the RGM agenda. Take detailed notes and synthesize discussions during the 5-day meeting. Draft clear, structured, and accessible reports reflecting key priorities, lessons, and next steps. Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a rapporteur or meeting documentation consultant. Strong writing and analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex discussions. Knowledge of women’s rights, gender justice, or feminist movements in the Horn of Africa. Excellent command of written and spoken English.
