Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is currently looking for ahighly qualified Protection Manager.About the jobThe Protection Manager (PM) is responsible for the overall protection portfolio of DRC Somalia.Working with a team of protection technical experts at the country level (GBV, CP, etc.), the PM will beresponsible to ensure that technical protection staff at the country level provide the necessarytrainings, guidelines, standard operating procedures to field staff ensuring harmonization, sharing ofbest practices, and compliance with global and organizational standards. Specifically, the PM isresponsible to ensure quality implementation and standards of DRC's protection activities across thecountry in close collaboration with Area Managers, while acting as the main technical focal point forthe field-based protection staff.
