About NCA Advocacy Programme Africa (NAPA) NAPA works to amplify African voices for justice by supporting interfaith actors, youth movements and civil society networks across the continent. We drive collective advocacy on climate justice, economic justice and peacebuilding, with a strong emphasis on building inclusive, influential networks. About the Role The Programme Coordinator will lead key climate justice initiatives across Eastern and Southern Africa and connect them to global and regional climate policy processes, such as the UNFCCC. You will support partners’ advocacy efforts, strengthen youth and interfaith mobilisation, and manage complex partner agreements with high standards of donor compliance. We are looking for someone who can coordinate diverse stakeholders, work independently, and inspire partners to unite around a common advocacy agenda. Key Responsibilities Support and coordinate regional climate justice advocacy and mobilization, particularly towards CoP 32 in Ethiopia, December 2027 Strengthen the capacity of youth and interfaith partners in advocacy, campaigning and movement building. Facilitate collaboration across countries and networks, fostering a strong regional climate justice movement. Manage partner agreements, budgets and reporting, ensuring donor and organisational compliance. Contribute to NCA’s regional analysis, policy engagement and advocacy strategy development. Who We are Looking For: Experience in climate justice advocacy within Africa, particularly Eastern or Southern Africa. Strong understanding of African climate policy contexts and global climate governance, including familiarity of the UNFCCC process. Experience in movement building, youth engagement and/or interfaith collaboration. Strong coordination and partnership management skills. Ability to manage complex donor-funded programmes. Excellent interpersonal, creative and intercultural communication skills. Familiarity with the ecumenical or interfaith movement is a strong advantage.
