UN Women is a key implementing partner in the Strengthening the Resilience of Displaced and Host Communities in Dolow (SRDHT), funded by AfDB in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning, Investment and Economic Development (MoPIED), and jointly implemented with UNHCR, FAO, UN-Habitat and IOM UN Women leads the Women’s and Youth Economic Empowerment, Gen === Skills & Qualifications === Minimum Qualifications: Education and Certification: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Gender Studies, Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Business Administration, Rural Development, International Development, or a related field is required; A first-level university degree in the above-mentioned fields combined with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree; A project/programme management certification (such as PMP®, PRINCE2®, or MSP®) would be an added advantage. Experience: At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in development programme or project implementation, including coordination, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, and capacity building is required; Experience in women’s economic empowerment programming, including livelihoods development, entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, market systems/value chain development, or skills develop --- About Dollow --- Somalia is located in the Horn of Africa and has a growing job market, particularly in the humanitarian, development, and private sectors. Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: Education and Certification: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Gender Studies, Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Business Administration, Rural Development, International Development, or a related field is required; A first-level university degree in the above-mentioned fields combined with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree; A project/programme management certification (such as PMP®, PRINCE2®, or MSP®) would be an added advantage. Experience: At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in development programme or project implementation, including coordination, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, and capacity building is required; Experience in women’s economic empowerment programming, including livelihoods development, entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, market systems/value chain development, or skills development programs; Experience working on gender equality, women’s empowerment, or gender-responsive development programming; Experience working with government institutions, civil society organizations, or private sector actors on development or resilience programs; Experience in partner coordination and engagement with UN agencies, donors, or multi-stakeholder programs; Experience working in humanitarian, fragile, or displacement-affected contexts is an asset. Languages: Fluency in English is required; Fluency in Somali is required.
