Job Summary
The Mechanical Technician will maintain, inspect, and repair mechanical equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient terminal operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair pumps, valves, pressure safety valves (PSVs), pipelines, and related mechanical equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and identify mechanical faults, leaks, vibration, and abnormal equipment performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and coordinate repairs with the operations team.
- Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment history.
- Monitor mechanical tools and spare parts and report replenishment requirements.
- Follow permit-to-work, equipment isolation, and terminal safety procedures.
- Report equipment defects and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability and safety.
