Youth Empowerment Alliance (YEA)

Youth Empowerment Alliance (YEA) is local Non-Governmental Organization based in Hiran region, Somalia since its establishment in 2000 after the phase out of the international community in 1990 by a group of Youth of Hiran region with a wide range of the Somali culture. The organization was established to advocate for the youth in basic social services in Health, Education, Sanitation, Peace and human rights and towards developmental progress.

YEA is in the process of pre-qualifying potential service providers for supply of goods and services and Works for a period 2025. YEA hereby invites all suitable service providers in Hiran Regions to submit sealed bids for services, and supplies as specified here below:

1. Invitation Pre-Qualification of Suppliers for 2025

Youth Empowerment Alliance (YEA is in the process of pre-qualifying potential service providers for supply of goods, works and services for a period from 2025. YEA hereby invites all suitable service providers in Hiran Regions to submit sealed bids for services, and supplies as specified here below:

2. Tender Reference: YEA/PQ/01/2025

YEA is inviting all prequalified suppliers to compete for the provision of various goods and services in Hiran, YEA requires a wide range of goods and services categorized into specific sectors.

3. MANDATORY PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

1. Business license issued by the Ministry of Commerce in Somalia

2. Registration certificate from the Ministry of Public Works

3. Tax clearance certificate from Ministry of Finance in Hirshabelle (applicable for those who have licenses)

4. Local government registration certificate

5. Company profile indicating full address, contact persons, key personnel

6. Bank statement for the last six months

7. Certificates, recommendations, contracts of completion on similar previously completed works – Attach

8. Employees CVs & Certifications

9. Completed Suppliers Relevant Experience – Annex A

10. Prequalification Application Form -ANNEX B

11. Suppliers Declaration Form – Annex C

Completed prequalification documents. Applications can be submitted in a sealed envelope, MUST indicate the category number, and item description, and marked as” prequalified suppliers-2025 and should be sent through this email [email protected]  or deposited in the prequalification tender box in the Youth Empowerment Alliance main office Madina Buildings near The Police Station, located in Beledtweyne, A designated box for application submissions will be available at the office for this purpose.

Use the subject line to indicate the tender category reference number you are applying for (e.g., YEA//2025/01).

9.Deadline:

All applications must be submitted on or before Tuesday 25th April 2025, at 3:30 PM. Late submissions will not be accepted.

10.Note:

Any false information or incomplete submissions will result in disqualification. Ensure all documents are signed and certified before submission.
