Scofield Associates is urgently seeking a consultant for a short-term engagement with a client. The consultant will provide leadership across all project countries and guide the delivery of technical and coordination tasks. Role overview The consultant will oversee project activities, manage the technical team, and ensure alignment across all work streams. The role requires strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills. Required qualifications PhD in digital economy, public governance, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of experience coordinating multi-country projects is required. Experience leading at least three projects on data or digital transformation. Experience managing teams. Experience working in Africa. The consultant must possess strong communication skills in both French and English. The consultant must possess strong stakeholder engagement abilities. Key tasks Provide overall leadership and coordination for the project. Guide the technical team and ensure high-quality delivery of outputs. Oversee work plans, timelines, and reporting. Lead engagement with government, private sector, and regional partners. Review and validate technical products before submission. Provide updates to the client and ensure alignment with expectations. Produce summary notes and recommendations on project progress. Deliverables The consultant will create a comprehensive work plan that encompasses all project countries. Technical review notes and validated project outputs. Progress reports for the client. Final project summary report.
