About the role
Sightsavers are excited to be recruiting a new team member to join the Digital Futures PMU team. The Finance and Admin Assistant Digital Futures reporting to the Finance Lead, provides administrative and financial support to the Digital Futures Programme. If you have previous experience in a similar role and hold a recognised qualification or degree in business administration, social sciences or similar this is a great next step in your career.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Coordinating logistics for programme meetings, workshops, training and events.
- Arranging travel, accomodation and flights and support onboarding and orientation logistics for programme consultants and temporary staff.
- Drafting correspondence, memos, keep all filing systems in good order, tracking action points from meetings and supporting follow up with stakeholders
- Assisting teams in the organisation of field trips, stakeholder engagement and programme activities
- Processing payment requests for the programme management unit
- Assisting in tracking partner transfers and preparing supporting documentation for reporting, compliance and audit purposes
- Organising finance files and supporting documentation
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will hold the required qualification, have strong administrative and documentation/filing skills, good IT and numeracy, awareness and experience of using AI to enhance ways of working and bring previous skills and experience in a similar role to the opportunity we offer.

The recruitment process will consist of an online written task lasting up to one hour. Candidates successful at this stage will be invited to attend an on-site interview lasting up to one hour. Finalists will then be invited to a final interview lasting up to 45 minutes.
