Role Summary
Blue Light Company is seeking a competent Facilities Manager to ensure that Mogadishu Sports Village’s buildings, sports fields, utilities, equipment and public spaces remain safe, functional and properly maintained.
The Facilities Manager will lead preventive and corrective maintenance, facility inspections, asset management, contractor supervision and technical support for sporting activities and public events.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the maintenance and operational readiness of all buildings, fields, offices, security rooms and public spaces.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure identified defects are repaired promptly.
- Monitor electrical, water, lighting, drainage, sanitation, CCTV and access-control systems.
- Supervise maintenance technicians, cleaners, grounds personnel, contractors and service providers.
- Ensure sports fields, spectator areas and event facilities are ready for scheduled activities.
- Maintain accurate asset, equipment, maintenance and inventory records.
- Monitor utilities, spare parts, tools and maintenance supplies.
- Support facility safety, fire prevention, emergency preparedness and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare maintenance budgets, procurement requests and technical specifications.
- Monitor contractor performance, service quality, costs and completion timelines.
- Protect facilities and equipment from damage, misuse, loss and deterioration.
- Respond promptly to facility breakdowns and operational emergencies.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports on maintenance, facility condition, costs and priority actions.
