A Electrical & Automation Industrial Machinery Technicians / Engineers position is currently open at NOVA GENERAL MACHINERY INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE PLC with the duty station in Jigjiga. Job Description Nova General is seeking skilled professionals for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery, electrical systems, and automation equipment. The role includes both preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring machinery operates efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities Install, commission, and test industrial electrical and automated machinery. Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and automation system issues. Maintain and repair PLCs, HMIs, sensors, motors, and control panels. Respond to emergency breakdowns with timely solutions. Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and reports. Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures. About You === Skills & Qualifications === Qualifications & Desired Skills Education: Education: Degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields. Experience: Proven experience in industrial machinery installation and maintenance. Technical Knowledge: PLC programming, sensors, actuators, and electrical circuits. Desired Skills Experience in large-scale manufacturing or industrial facilities. Knowledge of industrial safety regulations and lockout/tagout procedures. Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations. Proficiency in using diagnostic and maintenance tools.
