Job Purpose/Summary
Cashier:
She/He responsible for processing and receiving payments and issuing receipts to customers as the leave with their services. And also handle additional items necessary, such as credit customers, while providing exceptional customer service.
Job Responsibilities: -
- Handle transactions with customers using cash registers accurately and efficiently
- Perform routine records of patient requests
- Print and write legibly
- Understand and follow oral and written directions
- Carryout procedures, functions, and limitations of assigned duties
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing with patients, staff, and supervisor
- Collect payments whether in cash, check, or credit card
- Scan items and ensure pricing is correct
- Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
- Redeem stamps and coupons
- Keep procedure prices up-to-date
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
- Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
- Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Handle any tasks as assigned by supervisors
