Gode-based National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) is looking to fill the role of Cashier. ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), re-established by proclamation No. 1133/2011, is the constitutionally mandated body to conduct elections, organize referendum and regulate political parties in Ethiopia. NEBE is working to boost itsβ institutional strength with a special focus on enhancement of human resource capacity. Accordingly, NEBE would like to invite applicants for Cashier position who meet the following requirements. Required number: One Reports to: Head of Regional Office Duty station: Gode Duration: Permanent Salary: As per the organization salary scale (Competitive) Job Summary The cashier is responsible to collect cash and pay petty cash payments Duties and responsibilities Receives cash and/or check against cash receipts, deposits collected money in the bank and draw cash from the bank Records cash received and deposited on daily basis and prepares collection and deposit reports Disburse authorized payments from petty cash after examining the validity of payment vouchers and other supporting documents Pays authorized advances for purchases, transportation, etc in accordance with applicable advance forms Check monthly cash count /leger with received or payment documents === Skills & Qualifications === Specification: Masters or Bachelors in Accounting & Finance, economics, Business or related field 0 years for Masters or 3 years for BA Knowledge Basic mathematics knowledge IFMIS system knowledge related to cashier Know-How (Skills) (Technical competencies): Strong Communication and interpersonal skills Excellent customer headlining skills Attention to detail and Accuracy Problem solving Proficiency in Federal and local language Not a member of a political party.
