Gode-based National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) is looking to fill the role of Cashier. Professionals with a background in Finance And Accounting and at least 3 - 4 years of experience are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is Apr, 23 β early applications are encouraged.
ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW
The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), re-established by proclamation No. 1133/2011, is the constitutionally mandated body to conduct elections, organize referendum and regulate political parties in Ethiopia. NEBE is working to boost itsβ institutional strength with a special focus on enhancement of human resource capacity. Accordingly, NEBE would like to invite applicants for Cashier position who meet the following requirements.

Job Summary
The cashier is responsible to collect cash and pay petty cash payments
Duties and responsibilities
Receives cash and/or check against cash receipts, deposits collected money in the bank and draw cash from the bank
Records cash received and deposited on daily basis and prepares collection and deposit reports
Disburse authorized payments from petty cash after examining the validity of payment vouchers and other supporting documents
Pays authorized advances for purchases, transportation, etc in accordance with applicable advance forms
Check monthly cash count /leger with received or payment documents
