Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a Software Developer III . This role is responsible for the teamās design, creation, maintenance, enhancement, and proper operation of integrations and customizations impacting the teamās portfolio of business applications and platforms supporting global Finance, Human Capital Management (HCM), Grants Management, and Enterprise Risk Management business capabilities. Responsibilities: Design and Develop Integrations: Lead the design and development of integration solutions between various business applications to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency. Maintain and Enhance Applications: Conduct and oversee the maintenance and enhancement of existing business applications, ensuring they meet evolving organizational needs and performance standards. Manage Customizations: Ensure that all customizations in the applications are implemented effectively, documenting the processes and outcomes to maintain system integrity. Implement DevOps Practices: Foster a culture of DevOps within the team, promoting best practices for continuous integration, deployment, improvement, and monitoring of applications. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with various business units, including Finance, HCM, Grants Management, and Enterprise Risk Management, to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Monitor Application Performance: Monitor the performance and reliability of customized business applications and integrations to identify and resolve issues proactively. Provide Technical Leadership: Act as a technical leader for the team, mentoring developers and guiding them in adopting new technologies and practices that enhance productivity. Develop Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and best practices to support team efficiency and knowledge transfer. Conduct Code Reviews: Perform regular code reviews to ensure high-quality development standards are maintained and to share insights and feedback with team members. Ensure Compliance and Security: Ensure that all integrations and customizations comply with relevant regulations, security protocols, and organizational policies, protecting sensitive data and business operations. Requirements: Bachelorās degree. 8+ years of IT experience with demonstrated experience implementing integrations and customizations in enterprise business applications and platforms. Hands-on experience with Workday (Finance, HCM, & Payroll), especially with interface design, development, and support. Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in English. Proficiency in programming languages and tools (e.g., Python, C#, JavaScript, PowerShell, GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.). Expertise with integration technologies (e.g., RESTful APIs, SOAP, etc.) and knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, etc.). Competence in Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, etc.) with the ability to lead projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills. Experience mentoring other developers, providing technical guidance, and sharing best practices to foster team growth and effectiveness. Comfortable with supporting regular audits (both internal and external), having a good working knowledge of relevant compliance frameworks, secure development and integration practices, data privacy concepts, segregation of duties, etc. Highly proficient in protecting data privacy and appropriately handling sensitive, confidential, and propriety information as a trusted agent. Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and standards for systems and processes; conducting code reviews; and ensuring adherence to coding standards. Preferred: Experience with Salesforce administration and development, especially as it relates to integrations. Experience working in and supporting a global organization with diverse languages, cultures, and business & operational needs. Global non-profit experience. Good understanding of concepts, terminology, and business processes related to finance, human capital management, and grant management. Some level of fluency in additional language(s). The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidateās qualifications and professional experience. HFHI offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package that varies by country and typically includes vacation leave, sick leave, personal days, health insurance options, retirement plan contributions and life insurance. For work locations in Slovakia, the target hiring range starts at 3,570 euros per month. For work locations in the US, the hiring range for this position is $89,340-105,100 per year.
