Vacancy Announcement – Project Coordinator BACKGROUND: Lifeline-Gedo (LLG) is a Humanitarian, Non-profit and non-governmental organization dedicated to responding to humanitarian emergences through provision of life-saving support mechanisms in partnership with national and international role players, promoting peace and stability, advocate against all kinds of violence, initiate long term and short-term development projects. LLG prioritizes to identify the most appropriate targets for their projects where the poorest communities are suffering most. 1. Job and project overview Lifeline-Gedo (LLG) is seeking an experienced, highly qualified, and results-driven Project Coordinator to lead the implementation of the AARAN Project in Belet-Hawo district, responsible for overall planning, coordination, and execution of project activities in line with donor requirements, organizational standards, and community needs. The role involves close collaboration with AARAN partners, local authorities and community structures to ensure effective delivery of integrated resilience and humanitarian interventions, while overseeing day-to-day operations, supervising field teams, managing budgets and workplans, and ensuring timely, high-quality reporting, as well as strengthening stakeholder engagement, monitoring and evaluation, and accountability to affected populations, in line with LLG’s principles of transparency, inclusiveness, and community participation. 3. Scope of Work The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and coordination of the AARAN Project in Belet-Hawo, ensuring activities are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with donor and organizational requirements. The role includes superv === Skills & Qualifications === Qualifications Essential Essential • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Finance, Economics/Statistics, International Relations, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an added advantage. • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in humanitarian or development programming, preferably within resilience and integrated programmes with a strong understanding of community-based approaches in fragile and shock-prone contexts such as Belet-Hawo. • Demonstrated experience in project coordination, management, and monitoring of multi-sectoral programmes, including livelihoods, cash-based interventions, WASH, and social protection. • Experience working with local authorities, civil society organizations, and community-based structures, with the ability to build effective partnerships and foster collaboration. • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and drive collective action toward resilience out --- About Beledhawa --- Somalia is located in the Horn of Africa and has a growing job market, particularly in the humanitarian, development, and private sectors.
