World Food Programme (WFP) invites qualified candidates to apply for the Programme Policy Officer -Corporate Partnership Management role in Dhusamareeb. BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:The Programme Policy Officer (Partnership, Data and Programme Resource management), under the technical guidance of the Deputy Head ofCorporate Management(CP) Unit and reporting to the Head of Programme – Garowe AO will oversee the CPs and government partnershipssupporting the implementation of WFP’s NGO’s Strategic Engagement Plan activities in their respective Area Office. The incumbent will collaborateclosely with the Partnership Unit team, Programme colleagues in the CO, Area Office based technical staff, and work with the Supply Chain,Procurement, Finance, Risk Management teams in delivering tasks.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive, within delegated authority)• Contribute to the implementation of the Somalia Country Office strategy for partner engagement, by engaging CPs, NGO-Consortium,Government Institutions and other INGOs in the area.• Implement regular engagement with CPs by documenting challenges, opportunities and lessons learnt to better deliver high qualityassistance to beneficiaries.• Scoping and profiling potential NGOs in the Area Office in liaison with technical units and advise for relevant strategic engagement.• Participate and contribute to NGO Partnerships Unit reviews at Country Office/Area Office level and facilitate the piloting of CPmanagement activities/quality assurance measures.• Contribute towards quality capacity assessment of CPs and Partnerships evaluations at the area office level. Coordinate theimplementation of improvement plan for CPs in close collaboration with Area Office based technical units, heads of programmes, andDeputy Head of NGO Partnerships Unit.• Contribute to the review and revision of different tools, guidelines, and SOPs that can resolve audit issues and implementation of NGOguidance recommendations. Ensure that CPs have understood the WFP corporate tools, guidelines and SOPs and utilize them in theirday-to-day operations.• Review the potential risks in CP engagements i === Skills & Qualifications === QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREDEducation: Advanced University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, Economics, Finance/Accounting,Science in Nutrition, Food Security, Management, International Development, or Project Management OR First University Degree withadditional years of related work experience and/or training/courses.Experience: At least one (1) year of relevant experience with advanced University Degree OR First University degree with a minimum ofthree (3) or more years of experience in involving partnership management, Resource and Funds Management in humanitarianoperations. Experience in similar position is an addedLanguage: Fluent knowledge (proficiency/level C) of English and Somali language.Knowledge & Skills:• Ability to sensitize partners in the WFP Area Office on the effective utilization of WFP CP policies and guidelines.• provide & coordinate input into policy discussions & decision-mak --- About Dhusamareeb --- Somalia is located in the Horn of Africa and has a growing job market, particularly in the humanitarian, development, and private sectors. Qualifications & Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREDEducation: Advanced University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, Economics, Finance/Accounting,Science in Nutrition, Food Security, Management, International Development, or Project Management OR First University Degree withadditional years of related work experience and/or training/courses.Experience: At least one (1) year of relevant experience with advanced University Degree OR First University degree with a minimum ofthree (3) or more years of experience in involving partnership management, Resource and Funds Management in humanitarianoperations.
