THE ROLE Data Analytics Assistant Manager NO. OF POSITIONS 1 REPORTING TO Head of Business Cards Strategy DUTY STATION HQ Hargeisa GRADE LEVEL 3 Summary of the role The Card Data Analytics Manager is responsible for analyzing card transactions and customer data to generate actionable insights that will drive business growth, risk control, operational efficiency, and customer engagement. The role supports card product strategy, fraud monitoring, marketing campaigns, and regulatory reporting through data-driven decision-making. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Head of Cards, the following will be the main responsibilities of the Data Analytics Assistant Manager: • Lead the design and execution of the data strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals. • Manage the end-to-end data pipeline, including data acquisition, cleansing, transformation, and storage. • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of all data-related processes • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track key business metrics (e.g., customer acquisition, retention, revenue generation) • Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights to support decision-making for the department • Develop predictive models and forecasting te === Skills & Qualifications === EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or Finance • Master’s degree or certifications in Data Analytics / Data Science an added advantage • 6–10 years of experience in analytics within cards, payments, banking, or fintech • Experience handling large transactional datasets • Proven experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling • Familiarity with SQL, Python, and data analytics programming languages --- About Hargeisa --- Hargeisa is the capital and largest city of Somaliland, serving as the region's main economic and administrative hub.
