Overview of position Our client plays a vital role in supporting African Union Support and Stabilization Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM). The position of Logistics Assistant is situated within the Mission Support Centre, which forms part of the organizational structure within Service Delivery Pillar in Mogadishu, Somalia. Role objectives Under delegated authority, the Logistics Assistant will undertake the following duties: Coordinate and provide logistics support for ongoing air, land, or sea within the designated area. Identify and mobilize resources for special logistics operations, oversee their implementation, and report on progress. Deliver and coordinate logistics support to military, police, security, and substantive components of the mission. Draft and coordinate logistics plans and other documents required for the implementation of logistics operations, as directed by the Section Chief. Prepare and coordinate inputs to logistics reports, presentation === Skills & Qualifications === Advanced university degree in logistics, business administration, public administration or another relevant field is required.
