AVSI FOUNDATION is an international NGO with headquarters in Italy, which has been working with Somali people since 2009. AVSI is a prominent provider of development and humanitarian assistance around the world and brings strong management and innovative strategies to programs in various sectors including: Agriculture and Food Security, Child Protection, Education, Energy, Health, Livelihood, Economic Strengthening, Wash, Vocational Training & Job Creation, Health, Protection including child protection, and Environment. We are seeking candidates to apply following position in anticipation for the Somalia Empowering Women through Education and Skills “Rajo Kaaba” Project funded through the Federal Government of Somalia Ministry of Education Culture and Higher Education (World Bank funds) in Jubbaland State of Somalia: 1. Curriculum development Expert : Education: Master’s degree in education specializing in curriculum studies/development or teacher education. Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in curriculum development and review. In-depth knowledge of and insights into accelerated basic education and training in Somalia. A proven track in developing and reviewing ABE, teacher training, or primary/secondary curricula.
