KikoRomeo is seeking a highly skilled part-time Senior Finance/Admin Officer to lead the finance and admin management of the project “WINGS: Work, Inclusion and Sustainable Growth of women, vulnerable youth and people with disabilities in Kenya” , in partnership with CISP and funded by the Italian Agency for Cooperation and Development (AICS). Project background: The WINGS project is a 36-month initiative in Kenya focusing on the school-to-work transition and aims to improve access to productive and decent work for vulnerable individuals, particularly women, youth, and persons with disabilities, in five target counties: Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, and Uasin Gishu. The project addresses the issues of informality and unemployment by focusing on two specific sectors: domestic work and support staff, and ethical and sustainable fashion. Result 3 of the WINGS project specifically focuses on promoting employment development in the ethical and sustainable fashion sector in Kenya and encouraging the growth of fashion businesses. The project intends to o er a structured and comprehensive programme encompassing online fashion business training, specialised technical training for designers and artisans in Mombasa, Nairobi and Kisumu, access to an advanced fashion lab with showroom in Nairobi and support for entrepreneurship, while fostering sustainable development and decent job creation. Through CISP, this result also aims to engage with academia, facilitating knowledge transfer and enhancing long term training provision in the sector. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the overall financial planning, coordination, implementation and monitoring of KikoRomeo project activities related to finance/admin. • Ensure timely execution of the financial work plan and achievement of results. • Manage the financial and administrative aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with AICS, CISP and KikoRomeo regulations. • Develop and oversee budgets, financial and narrative reports, and expenditure tracking to ensure effective resource utilization in coordination with the Project Manager. • Develop staff, partner and supplier contracts ensuring they are fully compliant with • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the WINGS Project in collaboration with the relevant CISP staff. • Work with the monitoring & evaluation professional (MEAL) to collect & analyze key financial data and propose project modifications where necessary. • Assist the Project Manager in developing a successful business model for the Fashion Lab to be self-sustaining after the project ends. • Develop budgets for grant proposals for support and grow after the end of this financial cycle. Staff Management • Train key staff in the SOPs and book-keeping ensuring they are compliant with purchasing and contracting requirements of the donor AICS. • Coordinate with the Program Manager and the financial representative of CISP (weekly meetings) Key Deliverables • Monthly Financial Report s to the MD of Iko Ziwa Africa Ltd and Project Manager (PM) • Quarterly reports for sign off by the PM, MD and delivery to CISP • Annual Project Audit • End of Project Audit Requirements: Education: • A university degree in a relevant field such as Project Management, Business Administration, Accounting. Professional Experience: • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management • Proven expertise in financial and budget management. • Experience managing Human Resources (HR). • Strong planning and coordination skills. • Fluency in English and Kiswahili. Desirable Skills: • CPA • Experience working with entrepreneurs and co-working spaces • Knowledge of AICS procedures, including financial, administrative, and visibility requirements Location: Nairobi, Kenya Contract Duration : 1 year renewable
